Luke White had 3 goals and 1 assist and picked up 7 ground balls. Usually a player will get 2/3 and that is a very good, but 7 is exceptional in 1 game. On top of that Brian Hackney had 5,
Dan Pudduck 6 and Dylan Meisch had 8. Getting ground balls like that is being aggressive and its like continued winning a face off.
FHS freshman Goalie Joe Loria stopped 8 of 9 shots in the 14-1 win.

Added Game
The Wolves have booked a game at Birmingham Brother Rice to replace the Davison game which was canceled. Brother Rice is a 16 straight years MHSAA Div. 1 champion in boys lacrosse. The game is scheduled against their Varsity- Orange Team made up of Jrs and Sphs that are not on the Black team, mostly Sr's.
The boys lacrosse team is playing against the good competition in Michigan which shows because we were without 2 top players (left for spring break) vs. Whitmore Lake and still pulled off a win.
Whitmore Lake

On Wednesday, the LHS/FHS Wolves Lacrosse team won their first game of the season 9- 8 in OT vs. Whitmore Lake.

At 4:26 remaining in the fourth quarter L/F HS Wolves were down to Whitmore Lake and they had just scored to go up 8-6. Whitmore Lake had just won the face off and were in their offensive zone when (LHS) Wolves Defender Jacob Kirn pushed their Attack man out of bounds giving the Wolves the ball. Wolves went on to score a quick goal #7 by (LHS) Attack-man Tyler Bourassa assisted from (FHS) Midfielder Jake Newblatt and tied the game # 8 by Tyler Bourassa from (FHS) Attack-man Derek DeLong with about 40 seconds to go.

Then, in OT Jacob Newblatt (FHS) face off midfielder pushed the face off to (LHS) Midfielder, Dan Pudduck who picked up the ground ball around several Whitmore Lake defenders and got the ball in the offensive zone. We called time out and ran an overload offensive play where (LHS) Attack man Tyler Bourassa passed the ball to (FHS) Midfielder Brian Hackney for the game winner in overtime sudden death win.
